RMC Announces Significant Expansion in
Aspen, Park City and Denver Offices
Aspen, Colo. (Mar. 7, 2011) — The premier destination services company in the Rocky Mountain region, Aspen-based RMC, has announced that it has added five professionals to its staff. Paul Menter has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer, Laura West as Regional Director of Sales,Jack Kimball, Senior Operations Manager in the Park City office, Jennifer Adams as Sales Manager in the Aspen office, and Jillian Livingston as Sales Manager in the Denver office.
RMC provides expert corporate-program design and event-planning services from offices in Aspen, Colorado Springs, Denver, Jackson Hole, Park City and Vail/Beaver Creek. With over 20 years providing comprehensive meeting packages and delivering unforgettable experiences, RMC now has more than 22 staff in six offices throughout three states.
“We have been fortunate to experience increase in business even during the economic downturn,” stated RMC President Nathan Boyd. “And as the economy turns around, we need to expand to handle increased demand in corporate and incentive meetings.”
Following are the new members of RMC team:
Paul Menter, Chief Financial Officer, Aspen headquarters
Paul Menter has been named Chief Financial Officer for RMC. Menter has a long career in government and non-profits, most recently as Finance Director for Aspen Community Foundation. Previously he was City of Aspen Director of Finance for more than five years, managing a budget of more than $100 million. Menter received his Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University and a B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University.
Laura West, Regional Director of Sales, Park City
A seasoned sales professional, Laura West brings more than 25 years hospitality sales and management experience to RMC. West relocated from California to Park City to assume the position of Regional Director of Sales. Her previous positions include the Marketing Director for Aegis Living, National Sales Manager for ACCESS Destination Services and senior sales for Le Meridien Beverly Hills and Anaheim Hilton. West attended Mesa College San Diego and the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She is a member of ADME, MPI, FICP and HSMAI.
Jack Kimball, Senior Operations Manager, Park City
Jack Kimball, Sr. Operations Manager in the Park City Office, joins RMC after more than 13 years holding diverse positions at ACCESS Destination Services in Palm Desert, California, The Party Staff in Beverly Hills, and the Sonesta Sanibel Harbour Resort in Ft. Myers, Florida. He completed the Professional Development Program in Hotel Management with Sonesta International Hotels. Kimball attended Cornell Hotel School in Ithaca, New York.
Jennifer Elizabeth Adams, Sales Manager, Aspen
Jennifer Elizabeth Adams joins RMC from The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan, Puerto Rico where she was Meetings & Special Events Managers for a 400 room hotel. She also was Catering Sales Manager and Club Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. She began her hotel career at Laguna Cliffs Marriot Resort in Dana Point, CA and also worked at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, CA.
Jillian Livingston, Sales Manager, Denver
Jillian Livingston joins RMC with a 15 year career managing events in Los Angeles and Denver. She has been nominated for four years for the industry’s most prestigious ICON award and also has been inducted into the Colorado Meetings + Events Hall of Fame for “Up & Coming Supplier”. Previously, she wsa the Sr. Event Designer for Epicurean Catering and Beverage Manager for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Livingston worked with the renowned Standard Hotel in Los Angeles as Catering & Events Manager and F&B Manager.
