RMC Names New President 3/15/2010

Shawn Thomson, owner of RMC, proudly announced the appointment of Nathan Boyd to president. In this newly-established role, Boyd takes the helm of the full-service destination management and special events company, overseeing business operations for six offices spanning Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. Boyd will leverage his hospitality experience in group sales and marketing to help RMC strengthen and develop regional hotel partnerships, drive new business development, augment its existing services portfolio and employ social media tactics to bolster the company’s online presence. Furthermore, he plans to leverage his award-winning skills in sales and customer service excellence to further the company’s foothold in the Rocky Mountain region. Boyd currently manages operations from the Vail office, but will relocate to the company’s Aspen-headquarters by fall.
